Warranty Policy
Velocity Motors and Wheels provides limited warranties on used auto parts sold through VelocityMotorsAndWheels.com. This policy explains coverage, duration, exclusions, and the claims process.

1. Scope of Warranty
Our limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship that cause the part to fail under normal use. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and to parts installed and used as intended.
2. Warranty Duration
- Engines — 90 days limited warranty
- Transmissions — 90 days limited warranty
- Alternators, Starters, AC Compressors — 30 days limited warranty
- Sensors, Switches, Small Mechanical & Electrical Parts — 30 days limited warranty
- Parts sold “as-is” or marked non-warrantable on the invoice — no warranty
3. What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers:
- Manufacturing or functional defects that prevent the part from performing its intended function.
- Parts that are dead on arrival or found non-functional within the warranty period.
- Incorrect or mismatched parts shipped in error.
4. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage from improper installation, incorrect fitment, or use of incompatible components.
- Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, collision, racing, or track use.
- Normal wear and tear or cosmetic defects that do not affect function.
- Damage caused by insufficient maintenance, overheating, contamination, or lack of fluids.
- Electrical parts after they have been installed and used (unless returned unused and within the warranty period).
- Parts marked “as-is” or sold for core/exchange without warranty stated on invoice.
5. Claim Requirements
To make a warranty claim you must:
- Contact us within the warranty period with order number, invoice, and detailed description of the issue.
- Provide photos or video showing the defect or failure, and any relevant vehicle details (VIN, make, model, year).
- Return the part if requested by us for inspection. Do not discard the part until the claim is resolved.
6. Inspection, Approval & Remedies
After we receive a claim and any returned part, we will inspect it or arrange third-party inspection. If the claim is approved, we will at our option:
- Replace the part with a comparable item (subject to availability),
- Repair the part, or
- Issue a refund for the original purchase price (excluding shipping and installation costs).
7. Shipping & Costs
- Customers are responsible for initial shipping costs unless the part was shipped in error or is DOA (dead on arrival).
- If a return shipping label is provided, we will cover the approved return shipping cost as stated in the claim instructions.
- We are not responsible for installation, removal, or diagnostic charges incurred by third-party mechanics unless explicitly agreed in writing.
8. Core Charges & Exchanges
If a part requires a core exchange (e.g., remanufactured units), a core charge may apply and will be refunded upon receipt of the eligible core in acceptable condition according to our core policy.
9. Fraud Prevention & Merchant Compliance
Claims are subject to review for fraud. We may require proof of installation, service records, or diagnostics. Misrepresentation or abuse of the warranty may result in claim denial and account restrictions.

11. Limitation of Liability
Except where prohibited by law, our liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies stated above. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including labor costs, towing, or loss of use.
12. Governing Law
This warranty policy is governed by the laws applicable to our business operations. Any dispute will be resolved according to applicable consumer protection laws.
